Scarborough borough's coronavirus infection rate remains stable at lowest level since September

The borough’s seven-day coronavirus infection rate per 100,000 people stands at 11, which it dropped to on Friday.
It is the lowest the borough’s rate has been since September 1 last year when it also hit 11.

Hide AdAt that time the rate was rising, having fallen to zero in August.
It means the borough is still averaging just 12 new cases a week, half of what it was a fortnight ago.
Scarborough’s rate remains the lowest in the county, alongside Hambleton, and is below the national average, which is currently 21.
Mobile testing facilities will be available in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey this week for anyone with symptoms to get tested.
