Hide AdShow secretary Kate Harland said the show has lots of new attractions this year and that there is something for everyone.
She said: “We have some big new additions this year, including Purple Pig Petting Farm, who are bringing creatures such as pigs, sheep, rabbits, rats, a giant snail and much more.
“It’s something we wanted to do because kids go in the fur and feather tent and they can’t touch the birds and animals.
“This way they can experience what it’s like to touch different creatures.”

Hide AdKate added that there will also be alpacas this year, plus the Tail Waggers dog musical display team.
Eagle Eye Falconry will also be at the show, as will the Reptile Roadshow.
There will be a separate attractions ring this year and there will also be a horse breed parade for the first time.
Horse entries in the competition classes are well up on last year and craft entries have more than doubled from 90 to 200.
