Residents of Mayville Avenue in Scarborough really got into the party spirit for the Queen's platinum jubilee celebrations.

Bunting, balloons and flags festooned the road which was closed for Saturday's street party.

Resident Nigel Cunningham set up decks in a front garden and led the celebrations.

As well as singing Sweet Caroline - the official jubilee song - residents formed a line and did the conga to Black Lace.

All residents helped provide sandwiches, cakes and crisps for the party.
