Former Boro ace Ellender earns coaching role at Bottesford Town
Bottesford have looked inwardly to announce the appointment of Ellender, as player-coach, and Jimmy McNeil, as manager, of their first team squad.
The former came through the Scunthorpe United YTS route, and completed a year's pro contract before being released, along with McNeil, following a change in management.

This was followed by spells at Chester City, Alfreton Town, Retford United and North Ferriby.
The defender played 59 games between 1999 and 2001 for Boro, scoring six goals, before moving to Boston for £80,000.
A statement released by Bottesford Town said: "Both have worked together at Bottesford in managing and coaching successful youth football teams for a number of years.
"And, as a result of both their enthusiasm and others within the club, an application has been made to the Lincolnshire Football League to enter a Development Squad into their Competition next season to both provide an outlet for youth football whilst closing the gap between youth and first team football within the club.
