ASTRONAUTS, a cheer leader and superman have all made an appearance in Driffield at a fancy dress disco for school-aged children.
A event was held at Driffield Sports Centre to keep members of their Kids Club entertained during the Easter break.

Kids Club co-ordinator, Laura Croft, said: "During the holidays when there is no school we have lots going on. We use the sports hall, swimming pool and organise discos."

During the school holidays, Kids Club organises a range of activities, such as arts and crafts and movie screenings, weekdays between 7am and 6pm for children aged from four to 15.

Miss Croft also oversees the running of a term-time breakfast club weekdays from 7am to 8.30am, which includes a healthy breakfast and an escort to school, and an after-school club from 3.30pm to 6pm.

For further information about Kids Club, contact Driffield Sports Centre, tel (01377) 257480.
