BRANDESBURTON based Foremans Relocatable Building Systems has expanded its site accommodation arm with the appointment of a new senior manager.
Gordon Lumsden has joined the ConstructionSpace arm of the company, which is the UK's largest provider of pre-owned modular buildings, as business development manager.

ConstructionSpace is believed to be the first web-based service in the UK to provide pre-owned modular buildings for sale to construction companies on a site-to-site basis.

The approach is fast and cost effective, eliminating double handling charges.

Mr Lumsden, who joins the company from sister firm Portakabin Air Care, has seven years' experience in the industry.

He will work closely with leading building contractors and housebuilders around the country who need site accommodation during major construction projects.

The programmes can range from motorways and civil engineering schemes, healthcare, local authority, commercial, retail and housing developments.

He will be involved in the supply of buildings from order to completion and handover.

Site accommodation from ConstructionSpace ranges in size from 100 to 3000 square metres. It can be used as pro-ject offices, canteens, locker rooms, training and induction rooms or security offices.

Many of the buildings are also pre-fitted with partitions, kitchens and reception areas.
