A POPULAR Driffield area brewery is to showcase some of its products at a regional celebration of local food, drink and music later this month.
The Wold Top Brewery, based in Wold Newton, will be supplying their Falling Stone and A4 Amber ales to the Galtres Festival, which will be held at Huby, near York, on Sunday August 24.

And their appearance at the festival comes after the brewery won a two star gold award for its Wold Gold beer at the recent Guild of Fine Food Great Taste awards

The one-day event, which is billed as a Festival of Fun, Music and Dance - Food, Beers and Ciders, showcases a range of independent brewers, food producers and bands.

The festival also includes a full range of activities for youngsters including metal bashing and video making, as well as the food, ale and music.

The festival is open from 12noon to 11pm and tickets are priced at £6 for adults, £2.50 for children or £17 for a family ticket of two adults and up to three children.
