EYC Plans for Supermarket
Anti-superstore campaigners and town councillors have been out in force in Driffield's Market Place urging members of the public to put their objections to the proposed Cattle Market development into writing.
Campaigners are calling for as many people as possible to write to the Secretary of State asking for the plans for a new store, shops, cafe, community hall, and housing to be called in.
The awareness event comes just days after East Riding councillors backed the plans which have been given the go ahead subject to approval by the Secretary of State.
