Concern grows for missing man

POLICE say they are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of a man from Market Weighton, who has been missing from his home since Wednesday.

Kevin Hunt, 51, of Holme Road, Market Weighton, was last seen in Market Weighton at around 4.30pm on Wednesday afternoon.

He was reported as missing shortly after 5.30pm.

Officers were immediately deployed to the area to start a search for him, but no sightings have so far been recorded.

Mr Hunt is described as white, around 6'1 tall and of a heavy build.

He has short receding grey coloured hair. and is believed to be wearing black trousers, a black chequered shirt, a black belt, tan shoes and a black jacket.

Mr Hunt has not gone missing before and police are concerned for his welfare as he has learning difficulties and is known to have mental health problems.
