Rainbows in party mood

SCORES of youngsters from across the East Riding - including many from Driffield - took part in a day of celebrations to mark the 21st anniversary of Rainbows, part of the Girl Guide movement.
The celebration, held at Longcroft School, Beverley, was the biggest event ever held in East Yorkshire for the Rainbows, whose members are girls aged five and six.

The youngsters travelled from as far afield as Stamford Bridge, Hull and Holderness to enjoy the party, which included bouncy castles, slides and crafts.
