VOLUNTEERS are being sought to fill a vacancy on North Frodingham Parish Council.
A by-election to fill the seat will be held if 10 electors of the parish write to the chief executive of East Riding of Yorkshire Council at County Hall, Beverley, East Yorkshire, HU17 9BA, by February 11 to claim an election.

If the chief executive does not receive a request, the parish council will be informed it may fill vacancies by co-option, which means the council members will elect a new member from those who have expressed an interest in joining the council.

Anyone interested in the role is asked to contact Deborah Sedman, East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s senior electoral services officer, on (01482) 393311, or contact the parish council clerk, Ms J B Harris, at Laurel House, 89 Main Street, North Frodingham, YO25 8LJ.
