A MAN accused of wounding a person with intent is to appear at Hull Crown Court tomorrow (Thursday).
Allan Melling of Warter was sent to Hull Crown Court by magistrates sitting at Beverley on Thursday.

The court was told that the charge alleged against Mr Melling, wounding with intent on July 25, is an indictable only offence and must be heard by a judge at a Crown court.

The 67-year-old was released on bail, on the condition he does not approach, communicate with or interfere with John and Joan Smale, who also live at Warter.

He is due to appear at Hull Crown Court on Thursday August 28 and again to enter a plea on September 15.
