Call centre idea for old barrack block

I read with interest about the proposed call centre, which might be built by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council of Yorkshire on Manorfield Road in Driffield.
Your article, published in last week's Driffield Times, highlighted various objections, including increased traffic, limited car parking capacity and an already problematic drainage system.

With so many concerns raised, may I suggest an alternative? Perhaps the East Riding of Yorkshire Council might want to consider buying one of the empty barrack blocks located on the old RAF camp for use as a call centre. As your readers may be aware, the site is scheduled for redevelopment.

Not only is there a wide variety of buildings that can easily be refurbished, but there is also ample space for parking.

With this proposal, everyone is happy. Everyone is a winner.
And part of Driffield's aeronautical past is also preserved for future generations.

One of the buildings is even big enough to also house a small museum.
