£1.3m revamp work under way

Work on the £1.3m refurbishment of one of the main shopping streets in Leeds is due to commence.
Albion Place will be transformed with new seating, lighting and Yorkstone paving, according to council chiefs.

Work on the thoroughfare - home to many Grade II listed buildings, including the former YMCA and Church Institute - should be completed by November.
