Man badly injured in street fight

A 24-year-old man has been seriously injured in a fight with a group of people in Beverley, East Yorkshire.
The Leconfield man was taken by ambulance to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment after the attack in the Saturday Market area.

His condition was described as serious but not life-threatening. Police are appealing for witnesses.
