Hide AdThe work is being carried out by a team from Scarborough Borough Council, with Hall Brothers cranes and a rope access team from High Peak Geotechnical Ltd.
The boom and bridge are removed each year (usually around Easter) to allow vessels to easily access the Outer Harbour and then reinstalled in the Autumn to offer protection from winter storms.
