YORKSHIRE In Bloom judges are pictured in Nafferton as they made their summer assessment of the village for this year's competition.
Judges Paul Varney, Barbara Ellis and Roger Burnett toured the village. Their visit also included a stop at the village primary school where they viewed the range of vegetable beds which have been maintained and sown by members of the school's gardening club.

The judges are pictured with a group of school pupils, headteacher Michael Goy and Nafferton In Bloom committee members.

The results of this year's competition are to be announced at a ceremony in Barnsley on September 16.
