A GROUP of Scouts from Nafferton have received certificates after completing a First Aid course.
The youngsters, who are all members of the village’s Explorer scout group, learnt their new skills in a course taught by Geoff Eggleton.

Mr Eggleton, who also teaches first aid at the Defence School of Transport at Leconfield, specifically tailored the three week course to the Scout group after he was approached by work colleague, and scout leader, George Leighton.

Mr Leighton and Mr Eggleton were pictured with district commissioner Jenny Joyce as they presented certificates to Josh Teale, John Williams, Alex Dixon, Sam Maden, Simon Haire, James Beckwith and Stephen Waites.

The presentations were made during a group meeting at the village school.
