REVISED plans for a new property on a Nafferton street have been backed by parish councillors.
The scheme for the site south-east of 25 Priestgate in the village was recommended for approval, subject to adequate drainage provision, at their meeting on Wednesday.

The meeting was also told of the following planning decisions by East Riding Council planners.


  • An application to build a general purpose agricultural building following the demolition of existing buildings at a site on Scarborough Road has been approved.


  • An application for an extension of a side dormer window at a property on Station Road has been approved.


  • An application for two dwellings and associated works on a site south-east of 19 Westgate has been approved.


  • An application to build a front porch, a single storey garage and store, a new entrance gates and boundary wall at a property on Pockthorpe Lane has been approved.
