Black Lives Matter and Extinction Rebellion join up for rally in Scarborough on Sunday
and live on Freeview channel 276
The rally takes place from 3pm to 5pm at the town hall gardens in St Nicholas Street where Black Lives Matter in Scarborough have been meeting every week since June.
Protesters will be calling on Scarborough Borough Council to stand by their climate emergency commitments and make refugees welcome in the borough.

Hide AdThere will be speeches, music, an open mic and discussion of future actions.
Supporters are urged to bring their own placards, face-coverings and hand gel, as well as observing social distancing.
Meanwhile, Black Lives Matter Scarborough is planning to host a community event next month to celebrate diversity and other cultures in the area.
‘We Are Scarborough’ aims to bring people together from all walks of life for a mix of live music, food, drink, art, and stalls, from midday on Saturday September 26 at Falsgrave Park.
