Tributes paid to Owen Milner, 22, who died in motorcycle collision

Tributes have been paid to one of Driffield’s “kindest and brightest personalities” who has died in a motorcycle accident.

Owen Milner, 22, a mechanic in the army who had served in Afghanistan, had only passed his motorcycle test in the last month.

Close friend Ben Pollard said: “He loved life and made the most of every second.

“He had just returned from army manoeuvres in Canada where he worked on army vehicles and when he returned to Britain he was determined to pass his motorcycle test.”
