Two people rescued by coastguards after being cut off by the tide at Cayton Bay
Teams from Scarborough and Burniston Coastguard, Filey Coastguard and Scarborough Lifeboat station were called to assist in the rescue.
Once the casualties were located a rope system was set up and a rope technician deployed in order to take them up the cliff.
Both were safely recovered to the top of the cliff.
