Sky Sports allowed its customers to pause their subscriptions as the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and global lockdowns saw sporting events cancelled around the world.

This gave customers an alternative to cancelling their account, which could have left them having to pay an early cancellation fee, but now payments are due to start up again.

When are subscription payments due to begin again?

For those that have paused their subscriptions, payments are due to begin again from 19 June, provided that more sporting events, such as the Premier League, begin again.

The Premier League is currently scheduled to resume from 17 June 2020.

The Bundesliga returned on 16 May and is currently available on BT Sport, but as soon as return dates for other sports on BT Sport are announced, these will be publicised widely.

Some live golf has already returned, and the PGA Tour is due to restart on 11 June.
