HUTTON Cranswick United will begin life in the Central Midlands League with their longest trip of the season - just under 100 miles - when they travel to play Nottinghamshire side Bulwell Town on Saturday, August 16.
And they will also have to travel in the league cup when they get a taste of what the new league’s Supreme Division can offer, with Clipstone Welfare providing the opposition, although no date has yet been set for this game.

But prior to breaking
new ground, Cranswick have arranged a series of home friendlies, designed to ‘bed in’ any new players, and ease their squad up to prime match fitness before their big day.

Northern Counties side Scarborough Athletic will visit Rotsea Lane on Saturday, July 12 (KO 2.00pm) and hopes are high that they will bring with them their usual large travelling support, helping to swell club coffers for what is bound to be a season that will stretch club finances.

Bridlington Town will also be early visitors to Rotsea on Wednesday, July 16, for a 6.45pm kick off, with last season’s Humber League Division One champions St Andrews PC booked in for the next evening, July 17, also at 6.45pm.

Pickering Town are an addition to the series of friendlies on July 22 (7.00pm), and Sculcoates Amateurs, back to back champions of the Humber Premier League, provide the opposition on Saturday, July 26 (KO 2.00pm).
